Hi! I'm Emily. I have a thing for plants...
...like a collection of over 200 of them kind of thing. While I have mostly house plants, there are some outdoor stunners I've fallen in love with along the way too.
I have been fascinated with our green friends for as long as I can remember. Most poignantly, the Nature's Nursery plant kits I had as a kid were one of my favorites to play with.
Not only do plants offer instant natural beauty, I am drawn to the the fact that there is always something new to
learn about them. They are endlessly full of surprises!

A few other fun things about me:
I am a Wilmington, NC local - yes, I was actually born here! - and very much enjoy spending time in nature exploring through the trees or pondering the ocean.
My background is in interior design. After receiving my degree in this field, I worked with a few local designers for several years.
Bringing together my eye for design and plant knowledge is such a rewarding experience for me. I love helping people on their plant journeys while bringing the beauty of nature into their spaces.
And in case you're curious...
I also work on film projects when I get the chance.
One of my favorite pieces I had the pleasure of writing, producing, and acting in is a dark comedy short film called Plantastic!
